An affiliated section of Food First Information and Action Network (FIAN), an International Human Rights Organisation based in Germany and working towards ensuring right to food-worldwide FIAN WB was established in the year 1991 by eminent social activists, human rights activists and others The section presently covers West Bengal and neighbouring states in eastern India.
